I definitely look forward to seeing them get healthy and how this plant grows! I’ve decided to name them Galadriel

Sorry for the long thread, I know it’s not related to my normal content and I don’t really expect anyone to interact with this. But I really REALY like my plants so I wanted to share 🙂

They’re definitely a looker from afar right now, when you look closer you can see how curled the leaves are and pre-existing scars (I think from lack of sun and an old insect infestation) but you can also how they’re healing and their beautiful flecks of gold.

The lower stems have bent over because of how they were stuck growing before but in time they will hopefully straighten out. Unfortunately some of the leaves will always droop a bit because they lost some structure when the mushy bits were cut away but I’m not planning on pruning the at this time.

Everyone look at my new plant baby and how well they are doing now! I’m not an expert but I’m doing my best & I think it’s paying off. The leaves that had rot removed are successfully scarred over no more risk of it spreading to the rest of the plant! plus they’ve started to open new healthy leaves!

Websites and apps are still having issues loading and refreshing but things are no longer so slow that I can’t post.

Hopefully this means I’ll be able to post the days of kinktober that I missed later tonight when I’m not as busy.

I think they’re going so beautiful with the chance to grow properly. You can’t tell much from the photo but they have the most leaf striations out of all my plants so I think they’re a golden pothos! (not sure because they weren’t labeled at all but it’s a gorgeous strain)

This is my newest arrival and their current set up next to the fishbowl they were sealed in. They’re doing great in a properly sized container with fresh water and all the rot removed. Ideally I’d have them in a well-draining mix but I don’t have that on hand right now

I couldn’t do it, poor baby was trapped in a tiny fishbowl and had several stems trapped underneath the cork seal rotting in the water 🥺 by all means it’s a good plant besides that and couldn’t just leave them there!
