My best hope is that Trump’s popularity will fall so low that republicans in congress will turn on him out of self preservation. They might also like the opportunity to actually legislate.
I’m convinced that half of my countrymen are insane but that doesn’t settle the age old argument about whether the lunatics are in the asylum or outside.
Speech has consequences. Trump didn’t learn that lesson. Even after he was supposedly shot at forcing an aid to reach for the bottle of catsup that was conveniently handy. So a young man and a father died that day and Trumps ear healed miraculously in a week when ear tissue doesn’t grow back.
Please understand. Those with money are systematically buying up everything of lasting value while selling us things of transient value and increasingly by subscription. Will it wreak the economy? Yes. Do they care? Not. Having money doesn’t make them wise.
It’s funny but I’m not fixated on basket weaving. It just doesn’t interest me. I know a few people do it and that’s their business. I also don’t want it outlawed.
We have a president whose reputation cannot be defamed. It’s so debased already by his own words and actions. Think about that. It can’t get any lower.
The left calls him a fascist, the right deny it. The left says he’s a pedophile, the right says it’s Biden. The left calls him corrupt, again the right says it’s Biden. Conclusion: Both sides condemn fascism, pedophilia and corruption. Interesting. I was told that we were terribly divided.
Lie on your tax return. Claim defendants you did even have. The IRS had been decimated. It will take them decades to catch you with you. Put aside the back taxes, interest and penalties. Meanwhile the government goes broke. ICE and all. Do it or stop complaining.
So we have the smart people and they have the dumb people. How hard can it be to get them to shoot each other? It doesn’t take force. It only takes smarts.
They may not be getting what they wanted but they’re definitely getting what they voted for. But that’s the trouble with only considering what you want in any aspect of life. Perhaps if they had exercised some empathy in making their decision it would be better for them now.
