I still think Bishop needed a rest, but until the spine of Pompey's team is restored (Schmid, Ogilvie, Poole, Shaughnessy, Lang, Murphy, Bishop), we're going to struggle. #Pompey
Another weekend spoilt by #Pompey. ☹️
Setting up our new Windows 11 PC (replacing 9 year old Windows 10 machine that couldn't be updated). Glad I don't work Fridays any more - I'll need most of the day to complete everything! #GettingThere 🖥️😀
Saw Jack Dee at Woking last night. His trademark deadpan humour was as sharp as ever. I'm no prude when it comes to bad language in comedy acts, but worth mentioning that there wasn't a single swear word throughout Jack's hilarious set. It can be done. 😁 #JackDee #SmallWorld
Really enjoying this podcast series by @lewisgoodall.com. What an amazing true story.
Emboldened by the false belief that politicians outside "the system" will actually improve their lives 🙆‍♂️

It didn’t get any cooler than this in the 1960’s

SR 71 Blackbird - it still looks futuristic today, sixty years after it came out.
Well done Lando, now the new championship leader. That late virtual safety car ruined Max's fantastic push for 2nd. Very frustrating for him. Great 4th for Ollie Bearman and Haas. #F1 🏁
Yea, I've done it 6 times before. As you say, it's all about the training and also important to set out at the right pace.
Really enjoying Hamza's Hidden Wild Isles. The sort of TV that the BBC does so well and helped by having such a likeable host. Highly recommended.
Arsenal's best chance of the Premier League title in years, but who would have thought their closest challengers after 9 games would be Bournemouth, Tottenham & Sunderland! Great to see some unpredictability for a change. #PremierLeague
True, but unfortunately he didn't do much to disrupt Coventry or Stoke. He needs a rest to recharge.
I've just entered next year's Great South Run 😀. My last GSR was in 2018. I'll be 65 by next October, but with retirement looming, I'm confident I can get to a really good level of fitness before the run. Really looking forward to it.🏃
Reassuring to know I'm not the only one concerned about Bishop's form & goal drought. Until now, I'd have said his selection was a formality. Some claim "he isn't getting the service" but Kirk has already shown that the service is there. I think Colby would benefit from a well earned rest. #Pompey
Just read the bit about the vast profits these companies are making before you feel too sorry for the supermarket bosses! Instead of putting prices up, try not exploiting your customers! 😠

Tax rises could push food prices higher, warn supermarkets
The bosses of the UK's largest supermarkets warn the chancellor against imposing higher taxes on the industry.

Agreed. I thought there were signs of improvement from him in the Coventry game, including a decent effort off the post, but today he was totally ineffective again. I don't know what's going on. The talent we all remember must still be there somewhere. #Pompey
Are you suggesting Kirk gets better service than Bishop? Goal on Tuesday, a golden chance today plus other good positions. Not suggesting for a minute that Kirk's a better player, just that Bishop isn't making things happen at the moment, either for himself or the team.
I wouldn't slate Bishop, but you'd have to admit he's out of form. Might benefit from a rest for a game or two?
Well perhaps, but how many over-hit long passes did he play in the 1st half? His distribution needs to be better. #Pompey
I'm sure most of us would gladly swap him for Matt Ritchie, if that was possible. So far, he's been a massive disappointment. #Pompey
