Hi, I'm Steve. I am a master procrastinator and excuse lyricist. When I'm not doing that, sometimes I'll paint stuff. Here's a bit of a thread of that.
Fun fact: I was in Japan for a Magic event, then a few weeks of touring when I got the Optimus Prime assignment. So for most of it, I just had my phone to do art with.
I do some 3D modelling, usually for repetitive elements, or things with a lot of perspective that I'd rather not do by hand, and I'll paint over a simple grayscale render. It's pretty rare that I'll use photos for anything other than secondary reference.
