Accidentally becoming an anti-AI hipster over here.
I think of that as “Newer Neil” but I am shocked to see that “Harvest Moon” is more than 30 years old!
I like when it's easy to refute the rhetoric that "both parties are the same", and yes, that does require the Democratic Party to have a few purity tests, e.g. "no Nazi tattoo candidates".
I have always wished I could have met Neil Young's dog that was on the album cover "Everybody Knows This is Nowhere".

He looks like he was a great dog.
I remember this shirt little anonymous confession. My opinion on it today is unchanged from when it was first published: If you don’t like teaching, go get some other career.
"the connection" you are a card!

Since I'm about to head out to DC's No Kings protest, here's a quick look at America's ORIGINAL No Kings movement, and a review of how many of George III's crimes outlined in the Declaration have been repeated by Trump. juliansanchez.substack.com/p/trump-vs-g...

I'm not a fan of Woody Allen, but Annie Hall is a really good film. The best part may be that they don't get back together at the end. The first time I saw the movie, I expected that they would, but knew they shouldn't. The point of the story is that Annie can do better than him.

Marked safe from group texting Nazi shit to my pals.
There is a "market" for those summaries, and somebody is going to provide it. The fact that AI chatbots will get to it before Wikipedia did is not how I want it, but there's no getting around it now.
As someone who hates on AI, I will admit that I have long criticized Wikipedia as a resource, especially for novices and casuals. The articles get very deep very quickly, and someone looking for a summary or primer on a topic will often find Wikipedia is not good for that.
It's an important position to hold if one wants to "be Christian" but also reject the teachings of religious scholars and authorities, up to and often including the teachings of Jesus.

I first encountered it as an adult and it really threw me.
If you don't share the link, it is still just a quick google away. I found it and ran through it to see what it asks. Looks like zero filter or security, I don't get it, either.
I really wish we could have an adult conversation happening at these levels of government, and not "I gave it a different name, so now it's stupid".

I am being asked to tell my department which pieces of lab equipment should be supported with backup power because they expect rolling blackouts and brownouts in 2026 due to increased energy demands from AI. In case you're wondering how my day is going.
I think cops should dress like Chief Wiggum, and definitely not be permitted to cover their faces to hide their identities from We The People.
It's a Cook-or-get-cooked world.
This video is excellent. This is a great resource for AP Physics instructors.
Why does he love kings and hate the free market?
I don't think either term is good to use for individual forces, & I don't know that either should be preferred, really.

I don't think I've seen any evidence that either term is better to help students understand that the force must be pointed radially inward, vice outward, or tangentially.
I would not take issue with someone using the words interchangeably, but I do want "radially" to be followed by "inward", since physicists definitely study effects that extend radially outward in various contexts.
Listen, I say this because I mean this.

Lee Greenwood's music was the WORST PART of my May-to-August 1993 boot camp experience.
As of October 2025, Bad Bunny has 100.9 million followers on Spotify.

Lee Greenwood has 447,000.
