We had a very dark period in the Netherlands over the last few weeks, but finally a bit of sunlight penetrated my blinders against. While working on this piece, I just couldn’t avoid playing with some of the nuanced red and orange tones that we have been missing for quite a while

Season of the Wish illustration. Mara Sov, Queen of the Reef Mural. Inspired by Dreaming city motifs and art deco. My idea was to represent the ornamental architectural style of the Awoken.
