The idea of a girl like that not only being able to break past that anxiety, but to embrace her romantic needs with pride makes me happy, so I like drawing Zoey just happy to be with her partner :)

I prefer to think of her as not so much shy romantically as she is just unable to understand why someone like her (due to story reasons) deserves to be loved. Because of that, I like imagining her in a happy relationship where she's finally accepted that she is, in fact, lovable.

Been rethinking Zoey's character a bit. I used to present her as a tough girl with a shy side, but the more I've developed her within her actual story, that doesn't really suit her.
