IV is fun and schlocky in a way that you kinda feel like, okay maybe this will be like Nightmare on Elm Street where the movies melt into absolute dogshit but you can enjoy them anyway but no, V was just bad and then VI is even worse.

Like I'm sorry but Halloween 2 is blatantly not as good as 1- all of the relevant creatives involved are on the record as "haha yeah we were kind of forced to make it" and fuck you can tell. I like it, but you can tell.

I've just re-watched all of the Halloween movies now and I like Halloween II, IV, H20 and 2018 but I see no reason that the best case scenario isn't- Halloween I - Halloween III - Anthology series, Halloween I just ending like that and that being the final note on Michael Myers is extremely good
