monhun is an easy thing to point at and say "what about-" but the resource expeditions were gameplay, its the difference between deliberate gathering and just, having 300 items on the ground between me and my quest marker

generally its a method for simplifying consumable or resource grinding, but eventually you reduce this mechanic into meaning nothing when running around for more than 10 minutes gives you like 99 potions/copper rocks or whatever, id rather it just chopped out entirely after a point

i think its funny how fixated i am on grounded elements in fictional settings, if i let a character have a TF potion shop Obviously i need them to have volunteers who help clients with the long-term/extreme change adjustments, this is enough of a reason to come up with like 3+ other characters over
