You know, generally I do not wish ill on the workers. So I wish them all well with their mesothelioma because we all know there was no asbestos remediation done on a mid century building before smashing it or we would have seen it tarped and hazard signed.

I know that one behind and to the right of Hawkboy. It was the cover of the one Egyptian archaeology class I took and also the one Egyptian anthropology class. Same statue, different angles. Don’t ask me to remember the details, it was over 30 years ago.

Look, some people want to believe so badly they will find anything and everything a ghost. Poster of this image claims the green spheres to the left on the second floor are ghosts. Never mind it’s a clear inverted copy of the gosh awful oversized, over bright porch chandelier.
A two story house with a very bright multi bulb porch light. Like 18 lights at 100W bright. To the left, above the bay window, is a series of green dots which are clearly an inverted refraction of the porch lights and a deep lack of knowledge of how optics and digital cameras work rather than something paranormal.

It’s definitely not easy!

My (step?) granddad spent time there with the Marines after he passed through Pearl after the attack. In 2004 we took him and his wife back to Hawaii for the first time for their 50h. I saw him cry exactly once. It was when he visited the Arizona.

Machine learning has a place, but it’s pretty limited and should have tons of guiders. Chat bots doing research for people isn’t it.

Specific tasks are where we should be. Saying “let’s have it do everything” is a bad idea as it does not think like a human and make decisions that are not based computer logic. Research is out, as it can summarize existing work, but not make new hypotheses. Basically, it should still be in testing.

But it’s only as good as the data, which needs to be refreshed regularly. It has to include random control cases or it becomes a vicious cycle of it saying “only work this type of claim” and missing everything else. We don’t let it do the follow-up, it is an algorithm that shows what we should work

The generalization is the issue, I think. Machine learning has a role in repetitive, math intensive tasks. We can use 35 discreet metrics to determine which insurance claims will be paid anyhow and which are likely to need the attention of a human person to maximize what we get.

I mean, I have a stack of Pokemon card decks, but everyone gets em. Even the adults if they ask.

We don’t have a ton of trick or treaters, but I know for a fact kids like it because they ask if I have leftovers. They’re 3 card packs from the dollar store.
