the resilience, patience and strength of trans people is so bloody underrated and sadly widely unknown — we spend each day being disappointed in cis people for working with transphobes actively killing us, and we have to shut up or people will send us death threats and call us dramatic and emotional

The thing that gets me about actors responding like this whenever they’re asking about JKR is that they always say “we need to learn to agree to disagree ^_^” as if trans people are the ones leading the campaign, when we’re just trying to live our lives while JKR posts about trans hate 24/7
