There is no question that trump's republican party is a neo-nazi party. I want to believe that there was once a republican party (like Lincoln Project types) that was once genuinely principled and believed in small government etc. Any principled republicans have fled to the Democrats

Support Prop 50 in California. Support redistricting in blue states. SCOTUS is going to gut or overturn the Voting Rights Act. That's right. The corrupt despicable Robert's court will probably overturn the Civil Rights era Voting Rights Act.

I'm not seeing that graphic anywhere on their website. What is the sample size and how was it collected? Does the print version have any of those details. Otherwise I would say the poll is malarkey

I spent my afternoon making & passing out Yes on 50 flyers in front of Walmart & other stores in English & Spanish, and you can do it, too.

If you wanna save democracy, you'd better put your all into it!
I know that's high pressure, but this is high stakes!

The Spanish flyer is in the next post.

Trump’s gerrymandering directive to red states is an order to protect his power & it can’t go unchecked

He knows he’s losing favor
& everyday Congress gets closer to losing seats in 2026.

CA Prop 50 is a temporary Guardrail to protect your democracy. Vote Yes!

Despite huge advancements in technology & worker productivity since the 1970s, wages for American workers have remained stagnant and almost all new wealth has gone to the people on top.

Will it be any different with AI and robotics?

I don’t think so. Maybe even worse.

Tax-paying military parents. No criminal records. Both with work visas and valid green card apps.

No 𝘸𝘢𝘺 this happened without Pendleton command signing off on it. And if the generals are willing to sit by and allow ICE to abduct Marine families, just 𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘦 what they’ll allow ICE to do to yours.
ICE detains parents of U.S. Marine in San Diego
The couple's children told NBC 7 their parents were taken into custody by ICE while trying to visit their pregnant daughter on Camp Pendleton.

Beyond ironic and tragi-comic that the Libertarian / pro-austerity candidate bankrupted the country and needs a bailout. Austerity doesn't work. It always fails. I hate the right because it can't even stay true to its own principles. It preaches austerity to the poor while bailing out the elite

There is a case to be made that our salary for our representatives should actually be raised substantially to attract more qualified candidates. Our Congressional representatives are starting to look/sound like ignorant hicks

Napoleon Dynamite was a great film though. Napoleon supports a Mexican friend running for class president at a racist Idaho high school.

Ive been looking at the stats in Idaho lately. It might be the most racist state in the country.

"We have an economy where a handful of modern-day robber barons wield extraordinary power. They hold enormous control over our paychecks, our bills, our time, and our futures.

There will not be peace in the Middle East until...
-there is an international arms embargo on the region
-oil is obsolete since all our energy is clean/renewable.
-US stops backing extremist authoritarian govenrments like SA
-West cuts all trade with SA.

In twelve days, New Yorkers will begin to cast their ballots and face a stark choice.

A choice between democracy and oligarchy. Between a city you can afford or more of the same. Between the hope of a brighter future or a broken past.

We will choose the future.

The US provides billions in economic trade and arms sales to SA, UAE, and Qatar. These gulf states in turn covertly fund/support Al Qaeda, Hamas, and other extremists. The US looks the other way to keep the arms industry and oil industry happy. So it goes.
spdogood.bsky.social
Plain observations about the arms industry and the terror supply chain is often framed as left-wing, radical, or subversive. It's not. It's a clear statement of fact that leans closer to conservativism or realism. The profits of the US arms industry are being placed above our natl interest.
spdogood.bsky.social
The US is choosing long proxy wars to enrich the arms industry. Why was the war on terror a failure? Why does this war last so long? Why are stateless extremists always well armed? Because the US is arming and funding both sides. The US funds and arms the gulf states. The gulf states arms extremists

In a sense it was an active war of choice of the United States. While everyone should condemn the horrific terror attack of 10/7 and work to return the hostages. That work could have been completed with special forces & direct diplomacy within 6 months. What we saw was a long war of ethnic cleansing
spdogood.bsky.social
To a certain extent the public discourse in the mainstream media is artificial and genuine understanding of the matter is being actively suppressed through the recent arrests, firings, expulsions, and deportations. The US is an active belligerent and funder of the war.

Biden took the unprecedented and inept position that we always provide carte blanche support right or wrong. That's not true and it led to this disaster. trump was not any better. Either administration could have ended the war months ago by cutting funding. trump ended it now out of econ convenience
spdogood.bsky.social
Both Biden and trump have been exceptionally inept in handling this crisis. There is a long history of American Presidents maintaining the alliance while restraining its expansionist instincts. Eisenhower, Carter, Clinton, Obama prevented worst case scenaior wars by imposing restraint.

Im very glad for the cease fire. Having said that, treating this as a great diplomatic break through has lost the plot entirely. Biden or Trump could have pulled the plug on Netanyahu's war machine many months ago. As soon as Bibi targeted UN hospitals, US could have frozen all funding and ended war
