I'm wearing a shirt I used to have like 20 years ago. Thanks, dream, for giving me a cute avatar to use somewhere

last night I dreamed I appeared in a video game with a little pixel sprite portrait. Here's my recreation
A low-res pixellated self portrait where I'm wearing an off-the-shoulder black shirt with a skull on it

drawing this took me back to my Bongo Comics days. I think I only got to pencil one Skinner and Chalmers scene; wish I could've drawn a whole story featuring them
My pencils for "Eat the Pie Slowly," a story in Bart Simpsons comics Inked and colored final version of the page I penciled for "Eat the Pie Slowly" (inks by Mike Rote, colors by Nathan Hamill, script by Tom Peyer, lettering by Karen Bates)

I made up for it by drawing TEEEETH

I designed a creepy shirt for UFO 50 based on "Night Manor!" I hate mushrooms so I took psychic damage drawing this
www.fangamer.com/collections/...
A black long-sleeved shirt based on "Night Manor," part of the "UFO 50" games collection. Purple and teal inks depict a vignette of the game on the front with the text "Night Manor". Teal inks on the sleeves say "Night Manor" on the right, and depicts mushrooms on the left The front graphic, isolated. Text says "Night Manor." A monstrous man with some kind of supernatural fungal skin infection brandishes a bloody meat cleaver. A terrified eye is reflected in the back view mirror of a car. A large full moon illuminates a big mansion in the dark. A screaming corpse covered in mushrooms sits in an old clawfoot bathtub behind tattered shower curtains. A creepy doll of a little girl sits in the corner with a blank expression. The silhouette of a figure covered in mushrooms peeks through the mansion window. A car with a smashed front end drives through a dark forest road. Close-up of the right sleeve that reads "Night Manor" in teal ink. Close-up of the bottom of the front graphic, specifically the corpse in the bathtub, the doll, and the car

Vancouver used to have a Book Off downtown for a few years (closed in 2012), which was glorious. I miss it so much

every time I say this I'm secretly thinking of this
Wheel of Fortune showing the answer "I'm on my way" on "Brother from the Same Planet" (Homer says this in a very specific cadence that lives in my brain)

love this cover (also this book is great; much bleaker than Raimi's film adaptation, which is also great)
A Simple Plan by Scott Smith. There's a small hole in the cover shaped like an ice break. You can see the head of a slumped over man through it The cover is open, revealing the rest of the image -- a dead man slumped over in a crashed small plane, with American bills strewn about

The game taught me that even in trashy pulp novels, there is politics (and got me to pick up reading again)
