He's right. If the creeper was added today, people wouldn't like it. People would call it annoying or useless and this applies to all older mobs as well.

I forgot to yap about the Homestuck pilot.

It sure was a pilot.

Because it's a pilot, the pacing is predictably odd and contributes to a lot of smaller issues the pilot has. So, if they don't pace it as quick (and fix Dave's voice direction) this could actually turn out to be pretty good series.
