Here’s the Journal’s story stub. Note that WBD stock is up nearly 10% as of this post on the news. PSKY, however, is down. Hmm. The WSJ focuses on Warners’ planned split, peeling the cable assets off the rest of the company.

I guess I wouldn’t mind WBD merging with APPL, another w/studio ambitions.

Warners is making it official: It’s for sale. I remember before The Horrors how some people were hopeful that CBS and CNN, two stories news organizations, could be under the same editorial roof. That hope has evaporated as the political reality of PSKY has set in. I’d hope for a NFLX merger now.

I’ve thought about it—I think it’s not clear whether Shoaib takes Chandan’s place, or whether he simply goes to a regular college on his own.

I think I was more focused on the other imagery in the ending, thinking back to the other instances of that imagery we see throughout the film.

With AWS going down on and off today, it makes me wonder how all those driverless cars are running right now. Are they impaired or affected by this?

I saw one in ATL for the first time during my trip this summer. It was coming right down Peachtree at me, and I knew there wasn’t a driver. Weird. 🤖🚘

I haven’t heard yet—is Academy, the show, going to be episodic or serial? I think that will make a big difference in how I feel about it. A ten-hour-movie or a season?

I also really like Holly Hunter, and I am hoping that they’ll come up with some good Star Trek stories for her.
