GOLDEN EARRING - The Best Of 1968 - 2013

They will always be remembered for 'Radar Love" and "The Twilight Zone", but they had so many other great songs.

An underrated band that is worth checking out.

I believe my dad had some of their music. Misty was the song if I remember correctly.

Judging by the photo it looks like a rockabilly group with that large Gibson. Or possibly a Jazz trio? Do they have a hit song?

Yes, and there most likely would have been an endless waiting list for that class.
It will be interesting to hear the final outcome. Take for example how some bands remix & album when it did not even need it. Vapor Trails from Rush comes to mind as I found the original to be superior to the remix. Of course it is all in the ear of the beholder as some people find the remix better.
Very cool! Revolver is where I started to listen to their music. George was considered the fifth Beatle, so it is nice to see Giles continuing his fathers legacy with the band's music.
I'm no fan of AI, but if it can do that it would be awesome and I would buy that too. Like most tools available to us all now, good things can be done, along with not so good things.

When it comes to sound, bring on the AI then! 😀

Yes it is that album. I never got passed figuring out any more than what they described. Still it is a great concept.

I never got to see the live as they rarely tour the US, but are huge in Germany.

You're welcome. I was glad when they released this 2 CD set. I got tired of trying to put the chapters together from one CD to the next. A rather brilliant idea they had from the beginning to put one song on each album that would eventually come to this album.
