If you're after a guide, there's one here drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwyn... (via abandonsocios). You may have to learn Spanish. The game had funky copy protection that pretended to be a corrupt game at random spots if you copied it to another machine.

wrote up a bit of info on a less common US revision of Micro Machines for the NES, featuring a pretty nasty bug, discovered just a little too late and then worked around by using a PLD to patch a single *bit*. this is what day one patches looked like in 1991!

I'm so good at being calm in an actual crisis. Other people are unmoored and unsure what to do with themselves, and my inability to juggle day-to-day plates is temporarily free from scrutiny, giving me an instant bonus to my special action bar.
