I exclusively use CP in my small business. They are reliable and cost effective. Smaller communities need a national carrier. This plan recognizes the importance of maintaining the service but improving bottom line. Cons would simply close it down. I much prefer this approach.

Did you read the report?? I felt the changes are very measured and reasonable. We still get home delivery, but I am fine going to a community box every few days. Harper (or PP) would simply defund and end CP. Liberals understand the importance so are trying to bridge the gap.

I, for one value Canada Post greatly! I use them exclusively for shipping. They are fast, efficient and the most cost effective carrier. In 8 years of shipping yarn world wide, I’ve only had 1 package lost.
We need to retain our national postal service!!
