California has powerful agencies with extensive investigative resources. It might be time to look into conservative and republican groups and individuals for their political views.

Conservatives don’t even hear or see the hypocrisy in their arguments, they parse & accuse. Adam maintained his cool, even when a has been like Bill O’Reilly, who paid millions for his sexual misconduct, tried to claim his information sources were better than anyone’s based on nothing. Excellent.

Democrats aren’t campaigning on “Abolish ICE” & “Expand the Supreme Court” because they have no plans to make those things happen if we return them to the majority.

Democrats must publish a platform document spelling out how they plan to restore democracy & rebuild the Republic.

If that was their expectation, it was unrealistic based on what happened to them during his first term. This time, they even voted for mass deportations, knowing that the people being deported are their primary source of labor. It seems apparent, that like 47, farmers are ‘like smart.’

Since Reagan quietly accepted the support of Phyllis Schlafly’s Eagle Forum and its base of white supremacists to get elected, and Nixon and his Southern Strategy before him, racism and bigotry have been the foundation of Republican politics. Until now, it was considered impolite to point it out.

This act of defiance may be too little, too late. This should have happened when 47 renamed the Gulf of Mexico and the AP didn’t capitulate. Prioritizing access over ethics has left the self-proclaimed ‘defenders of democracy’ impotent and weak.

‘Unwritten law’ is an oxymoron. Republicans have exploited procedural gaps and norms for decades, this behavior isn’t new. Accountability can’t hinge on assumed goodwill. Democrats were still invoking ‘decorum’ a month ago. If they regained the majority tomorrow, they’d be as gutless as yesterday.

The fact that there isn’t a federal law that explicitly requires the Speaker to administer the oath within a fixed timeframe after certification is another failure on the part of our democratic representatives. It’s time for change.

There was never a peace deal, and there will never be a peace deal. There will be imposed peace and prosecution of war criminals on both sides, or there will be nothing left of Gaza or the Palestinians, and Israel’s place on the world stage will be destroyed, just like Germany’s was after WWII.

I don’t know what happens when we die. Logic tells me it’s simply infinite unconsciousness. What does live on is the ‘place’ we occupy in the memories of those we leave behind, and in most cases, that’s a positive. In Charlie’s case, it is not.

The judge said no to the government’s request to keep a wide range of case materials secret. This means more of the evidence and filings might be made public instead of hidden behind legal protections.
