This is not a path I necessarily recommend! For one thing, it's very easy to confuse with pessimism. It's very close to that, ideologically, but it's different. Sort of like "even sand has a purpose", if that makes sense. (Sand as opposed to earth, for example).

Something I need to write on more, and will likely be doing so at some point in the next while: how the foundation of my various identities is rooted in not only the attempted destruction of my peoples, but that the (near) destruction itself has led to a blossoming of sorts, over time.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.
