I'd taken a step away from art for a bit. I've lost confidence in my ability to ever make anything good again. I've flip-flopped between this being a skill issue or a confidence issue, so I've defaulted to doing warm-ups to rebuild my confidence.

This is really cute AND cool so far, I like your character's expressions and your extremely detailed backgrounds really makes the world feel so much more lived in and real. The detective's apartment alone, just woof at all the little things.
