In 00's, working for Police Eng & Wales, I was shocked by attitudes of some cops towards others. Mostly in custody suites. Anyone arrested was routinely treated with disdain. Why? Day in day out cops see 10% of a population who cause 100% of their work! Attitudes/opinions/beliefs warped by just 10%

My housebound 85yo, dad, accepted being classified by his Govt as CEV during Covid; he diligently got all his vaccinations - but now stretched District Nurses struggle to give HB patients all their jabs; dads GP has asked dad to get to a remote surgery despite dad being told he is "unsafe" outside?

Interesting Convo with neighbours (German & Belgium). They had no idea (zero) that there are no legitimate was for people to seek asylum in UK unless they set foot on UK soil! They felt UK is being 2 faced compared to rest of EU & they didn't think their countries were "overrun" so how can UK be?

Turns out "they" can fool most Brits, most of the time! Unbelievable stupidity, which begs the question why? Why are Brits so politically naive? I suspect Red Top Rags might have something to do with causing so much ignorance - people believe it's true because it was in their paper *rinse repeat*
