I’d wait if your looking at getting an Index. Many are thinking that their next headset release is imminent from leaks and data mining. You’ll have options or at least a cheaper Index as the market floods from people trying to upgrade

Looking at the modding tools, I don’t think it would be difficult to do. While it’s still little rough around the edges the tool was just repurposed from previous games.
