Eddie keeps disappearing and when he reappears its only for a short while. They're staying in an old trailer park and whenever Steve leaves the RV, he sees Eddie, in a far corner, desperately digging at the dirt before he disappears again.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out what to do.

No one in town will talk to them about anything weird, but some of the kids stare at them, a girl with a bob watches Steve long after they leave the video store.

Steve feels like the place is familiar, but it can't be, he's never left California before he started travelling with Dustin.

Steve who normally takes the brunt of Eddie's yapping is unnerved by how quiet the ghost is, and by how eerie the town is. How still everything is in this weird town.

It's dark, no matter what time of the day. Most of the people who live there, live like they're stuck in the 80s.

Steve and Dustin modern day ghostbusters and Eddie the ghost that just follows them around cause he's bored and they're entertaining, Dustin to talk to and Steve to tease.

Until they end up in Hawkins Indiana and Eddie pops up to see, only instead of the usual cheer, he's silent.
