Went up to BC a few days ago to ski in the "Train" range. It's a sub range in the BC South Coast mountains with railroad themed names. Drove the Hurley "highway" to get there. The road was as exciting and beautiful as the trail.
Another beautiful day on a volcano! Climbed and skied Middle Sister yesterday. We left our skies at Hayden saddle and climbed to the summit. Lots of sastrugi on the steep face. It was a bit scary. The ski down was really nice even though it was a bit past corn-O-clock.
I now know to avoid the summer trail yo lake Ann and to make a way through the woods. Anyway, I made it up pretty high towards Black Peak and had a nice ski descent over corn snow. FYI - There is a lot of not so fun side hilling on the tour to Black from Heather pass.
Went on a solo mission last week in the North Cascades. I headed over Heather pass towards Black Peak. I had quite an adventure. The trail to lake Ann was more 'spicy' than expected and within the second mile I had my ice ax out and was exposed to a potential serious fall.
Skied Mount Saint Helens the other day under a blue sky. The snow was rock hard the entire climb, and we were in ski crampons the whole way. We waited at the top until noon, then dropped into thousands of feet of corn! It was epic!
I don't understand why ANYONE, other than those in the know, i.e. the circus tent insiders, would invest in US markets. Our markets are under the control of ONE IDIOT!
This IS NUTS! ONE MAN plunges the financial world into chaos, then says, "we MIGHT be talking to Japan", and the markets pop. All the while the Republicans are sitting around thinking how GREAT it is that they seceded power to an IDIOT!
You know, I am tired of "this court said this, that court said that" and there's no change! I want to see ENFORCEMENT! This guy should already BE IN JAIL! FOUR YEARS... multiple lawsuits with ample EVIDENCE, and this guy ends up president! We are a laphingstoc to the rest of the world.
