Pure style over substance but oooooh that style. One of the most stunning looking movies I've ever seen in my life when I'm not looking at young Jeff Bridges's face. Daft Punk's score for this is still an all-timer. Could use less of Sam being an action movie quote factory.

At one point in the game's development, Sakurai asked Jun Ishikawa (pictured) how long in the Kirby Dance music was in frames. Ishikawa could only response with "I don't know".

いいかもと思った絵がよく見たらAI製だったとき騙された気分になるしそうと気づかず受け取ってるときがあるのかもと思ったら嫌すぎるから（仮に権利関係がクリーンになったとしても）表示義務化してくれ～って思ってるけど、一方で自分が作ったものを見てもらう側のときには作者が何者かとか気にしないでよって思いがちで、それって整合性取れてる？　作者の存在に価値を置いてるのかないのかどっちなの？　ということを最近考えてたんだけど
私は自分のことをあんまり深堀りされたくはないだけで、思ってたより物作りに人との関わりを求めてるんだと認めざるを得なくなってきた

The thing I'm feeling about Legends Z-A megas is that I really need to see them in motion before I fully judge them. I had a way better first impression of the ones I saw through their animations than the ones I just saw model screenshots of.

Golvellius is the kind of game that unlocks a secret cave if you kill 34 enemies on a specific screen, only for the fairy in that cave to scold you for grinding

That's what I like to call "The Good Stuff"

A screen with trees, rocks, and green caterpillar/slime looking things

The fairy in the cave says "Don't earn find in such a place!" (Find is the name of the game's currency)

A never-ending barrage of punches to the gut in TV form. Even its most unlikable characters are surprisingly rich in depth, and its laser-focus on exploring their ideas of morality makes their clashes hit all the harder. Also has a wonderful, if dated in spots, aesthetic.
