if camera quality doesnt matter, consider:
any old ZTE BLADE
Alcatel 1B
Samsung Galaxy A02s
Samsung Galaxy s4,5,6,7
Android Oppo A15

i think the only requirement is that it supports android 5.0 or above to run droidcam, most old smasung galaxy phones let you update them

In the material, try setting the interpolation to closest or the alpha to something else if you haven't already.
Also, inside the shading tab, the "Alpha" thingy might be connected to a separate texture. That sometimes happens when you import something. Hope this helps :>
