I do theoretically think that yeah Lacus and Kira overcoming their guilt complexes to each other is the good end for them but also... a) I don't want them to Good End and b) the circumstances Freedom has created are too insane to make a

This isn't actually happening in Freedom era as written bc the end moral is obviously that Lacus and Kira have Learned To Communicate and the lack of Lacus' expressing feelings about her birth is not a character motivated omission
