Most content i dont like is original (Avatar) , or an adaptation of something i didnt like in the first place (Harry Potter). So I dont have a strong opinion. I *do* have a stronger opinion when it's an adaptation of something I was already invested in. Budget is just a proxy for failure of adaption

My copy of the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy looks like i dragged it through a Magellanic cloud. When I want to read the book I have to use a newer copy cos the old one falls apart. I love it.

If paracetamol took half an hour (or more) to administer and you had to take it constantly, several times a week, forever, or it wouldnt work, it hurt taking it, it made you sweat and carried a realistic risk of injury, then probably no fucker'd take that miracle pill either.

Cars are fantastic if you feel you need a car, like me. If you don't, you don't. Baffles me why anyone would care about anyone else, beyond being thankful that thanks to you, there's one less car on the road/in the car park than there might have been. Cheers for that.

Indeed. 75kg is what i weigh. That'd be a serious hazard if they just dropped out of the sky (which they generally don't). 75g on the other hand is a medium sized bread roll, or a large duck egg. I think more than one respondent here made the same mistake you did but doubled down instead of checking
