To clarify, their character would be edited/removed from the work. I wouldn't be re-selling anything they explicitly own such as that design.

All this is in theory. In my 10 years no one has broken ToS to the point I've needed to take any form of action.

You're quite hung up on legally and courts and corporate things. I'm a small artist with a terms of service. I can withdraw my service without need for a whole legal process. Its all very simple... don't break my ToS and things are normal.

I can take the image, repurpose it and either use it for merch or resell it as a YCH. It no longer belongs to the client. If the user isn't a client and doesn't have prior work with me, I just record their name and block them.

Well, a couple of things. 1. I don't need a court to blacklist someone. 2. If a random takes my existing (past) work and breaks my terms with it, I am within my right to withdraw services. 3. Past clients have already agreed to all of this as things have only been clarified not drastically altered.

My ToS has been updated. Changes apply to all artwork by me past and future.

Primary changes address AI usage. It's one of those 'the rule needs to be written down cause common sense ain't so common anymore' situations.

USA fur cons are very difficult to sell at if you're not a citizen. America doesn't like people coming in, making money and leaving. Never have. So they'll never really be viable for me.

That's a no for VancouFur artist alley as well lads. Time zones got me, I wasn't quick enough. So that's it I suppose, only Furnal Equinox on the cards next March. That's okay, we go hard! I'm so excited to see all the people who have already said they'll come <3
