Workday is investing €175m over the next three years to establish an AI Centre of Excellence in Dublin, adding more than 200 specialised roles to the company. The new roles, the company said, will be around AI, machine learning, cybersecurity and engineering.

The Irish AI Factory Antenna has been awarded €5m in European funding after passing an evaluation by the European High Performance Computing joint undertaking. Meanwhile, a hosting agreement for a new national supercomputer has been signed between the University of Galway and EuroHPC JU.
