Congratulations to our two new woman Govs in NJ + VA, and to a new Dem mayor in NYC. Turnout in CA over 1 ballot issue was huge rather than mailing early, and there were lots of young people. May the trend continue. Young people know what GOP failure on SNAP means, + higher health ins.

I heard Jason's first appearance on one of the good cable channels when he first started speaking. Other professors hav left for Canada, too. Timothy Snyder? Many actors are in Europe now. He and Snyder are/were right on coup. Tues. voting decisions were good if they continue in 2026.

Games are SO effective and enjoyed in HS classes. We've even played Jeopardy in 2 teams for Shakespeare play review before unit final tests. Active and auditory learners need the variety now and then. In English, occasionally at end of semester Scrabble, Boggle, etc.Builds social skills, too.

All women, esp. Dems. Years ago, Barack Obama and then Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid agreed that Congress would work better, achieve more, if there were more women as a percentage of membership. If you can, find a good woman advocate in your neighborhood to run for office...maybe yourself!
