At a surface level the show is about a space war with giant robots, so not obviously a “girls” show, but it was like star trek in having a lot of important female characters with real jobs on the space ship, and lots of focus on character interactions/relationships/growth alongside the action

Mobile Suit Gundam, the classic 1979 anime that launched one of the most successful anime franchises ever, was not a big hit when it first premiered, and the director has said many times that it was the female fans who helped the show survive and gain popularity

Yeah, I saw that too, they link to the mess that happened when he swapped his lt gov over BDS in 2017 which is disappointing, but it sounds like hes been outspoken against israel in the past year. All the AIPAC $$ going to Laura Fine. Kat doing best with grassroots donations, Biss has some PAC $$
