Most of my "aha" moments don't happen at my desk. They happen while I'm chopping vegetables or folding laundry. I've stopped fight it, they're just part of my writing process now 😄

(I do think in that specific situation your gut is the ultimate authority. After all, there's no "authority" without "author"!)

Then I reread the scene. And year, okay, they're right. 😄
