True. Though it seems JD was a very different person when they met and eventually married. He only converted in 2019. It’s always the converts who become the most extreme in their beliefs.

He wants to be mayor of a city that has a HUGE population of Hasidic Jews. Who likely will vote for him. And he’s suddenly worried about women being forced to cover up? And women’s rights? Hasidic women have to wear wigs in public and cover all skin other than their faces. They cannot drive.
