it does function without the subscription, there is some very limited free content, can purchase or rent movies through it too. You can subscribe to other subscriptions through it, although since I have the Apple TV subscription I don't know if they're attached to it always, or can do them solo.

it's actually 3 products. Apple TV box, Apple TV streaming service and Apple TV app, since the app is technically separate from the subscription service and you can use it to watch stuff that's not Apple TV oriented.

Mix it up had a sign up to get an into a beta thing for them, and I signed up, but I think they dropped it. My issue is that my web browser source for alerts had always been setup for Monitor and Output, but when I have it on that, viewers cannot hear the alerts, but I can. If I have it on monitor

these days in general, it seems to be that people just wants to hate on movies to hate on them, and that goes across the board for many franchises. I know going to movies can be very expensive, I consider ourselves lucky we have an affordable family owned theater near us.
