I painted this low detail impressionist piece as a breath of fresh air for myself after a month of daily refined artwork!
While I do enjoy the art month artwork's level of detail, I love to paint things with a focus on texture and the illusion of detail.

#RWArtMonth 2025 Day 19: Drainage System - I do my best to avoid going to this place. I usually find myself losing my way in it's pipe-laden structure.

#RWArtMonth 2025 Day 9: Echoes - In my opinion, this is one of the most interesting aspects of Rain World. I have been fascinated by the echoes since I first encountered one.

The floating being looks like an armless figure with their legs crossed and some long wavey tendrils floating around them, coming out of their back. They are a dark abstract silhouette with long and slender legs, with no discernible feet. The head is on a long neck, hunched over, and looks vaguely like the shape of a bird head with a long beak, only is is covered in shimmering gold diamond shapes. The legs also have a shimmering pattern of gold squares. The edges of the tendrils also shimmer in this way. The environment is distorting around the being, like an extreme heat haze, and many large golden flakes float down from above like leaves.

#RWArtMonth 2025 Day 2: Swim - I really enjoyed painting this scene. Water in Rain World is one of my favourite aspects, especially with Rivulet in the Downpour DLC, and I love painting it!
