Do you have a “ Care of the Elderly” unit locally where she could go for Rehab/ respite / monitoring for a period? My mum went to a fab one for a few weeks …terrific ward sister, insisted on everyone getting dressed each day etc. sadly the male side wasn’t half as good.

Dr Abu from The Sudan (fled to get to Egypt when a kid, now a wonderful doctor)
Joy from Malaysia who sped around Resus for 12 hours without pause
Nurses Elizabetta & Esitio on The Medical ward
Dr Hasan on call
Julietta from Poland who makes + tea

2/2 What concerns me is that she will be discharged without long enough monitoring & with a 10 month wait until ablation is possible & we’re back to square one.

It’s a hellhole there (staff doing their best etc )
