I remember at the time my mom gasping when she heard that DHS was being created. I specifically remember her saying "That's not good...to put that many departments under one umbrella and give that much control to it." My mom is a veteran.

Oddly enough, I feel it's a little different than 2020 because he has lost so much of his fan base in the last 10 months. I'm hoping he's pissing them off enough that they'll vote against anything Republican.

One of the universities near me just had to lay off a bunch of their staff. Their enrollment went down by half because all the international students they relied on couldn't get visas.

When I was a manager, I had a single mother who worked 40+ hours a week and was on SNAP. The majority of people on assistance WORK.
