That and they have dipped heavily into AI the last couple of years. Wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the research into this was "Hey AI, help me research this" and it spit out what it thought they wanted to hear.

Oh, they definitely don't care lol, it has been going for years now. I was wondering if maybe other leagues were holding back there because of it but that doesn't appear to tbe the case.

I wonder if the push back the NHL gets from fans on the virtual ones plays any role. Because their have been fans who had to stop watching because of headaches caused by it. Now, they are also on a white background and not a green one, so maybe it isn't an issue.
