My son was on trial at Barrow and drove to Southport instead of Stockport for a pre-season game. Only realised when he went into the away dressing room. Manager saw the funny side luckily.
A mate went to see Fort William and turned up at a nice, neat little stadium. He mentioned to someone he'd come for the match and the guy said this is the shinty ground - the football ground is that field down the road.
