Today marks the end of Windows 10. If you are thinking of options, as a MacOS user I recommend giving Linux a shot.

Wine works pretty well for running applications that don't exist natively on Linux, and I can help with assistance setting it up.

Thank you for outlining the difference distros out there. I never used Linux outside of work but with Windows 11 being a over designed mess (like having to navigate needless menus to do basic things like check file properties) I'm looking forward to using Linux personally.
