He/him unless I’m talking about the Mariners or Seahawks, then it’s ’we’ Some call me Rufus

This has been the source of my frustration since.
Of the many reasons it was a poor choice, one of them is that the Mariners were probably two batters from getting into the bullpen.

(And JP had two hard hit balls in his next two at bats).
They are off topic. The subject at hand is comparing the Blue Jays and the Brewers.
The crucial part you missed is that he was comparing the Blue Jays to the Brewers and why they are a better equipped opponent for the Dodgers.
So besides missing the entire point of his original post, you really did… not do a good job.
Do you think all people deserve basic human rights?

A group with more diverse thoughts is not the correct one.
As a Mariner fan, he’s terrifying.

2/3’s of the innings are spent conscious of how long until he bats again and hoping it’s a situation where we can walk him.
Look at the MacGyvers over here
I think it has to do with giving the top of your lineup one more chance.

Tomorrow has Castillo and Woo in the bullpen.

Maybe
I remember reading Dr. Z back in the day. He used to say that we should send Eli to Cuba because he could overthrow Castro.
He already used up his homer. Got to get the most out of his outs
Trying to remember this example when the next discussion about how much circumstance affects performance and how it’s hardly ever a 1+1=2.
Is this the biggest Pre-season overreaction ever?
What’s the gag, son. Gag, that is
Getting caught in the gears of a combine, that’s the way to go.
They propagate solely via the Mayfly making it a very rare species indeed.
The odds of a meaningful player on next year’s Twins team coming from this year’s rental trades is also very low.

I think you are hoping and praying as a strategy. But you are just putting it off for a year.

The controllable contracts can be traded in the off-season if they want to retool.
IMO- there is value to the fan base in trying to win as many games as possible. It isn’t just about the playoffs.

(It’s fun to go to games and watch good players and winning teams. When the team quits, I think fans do too).

‘Hurts any chance of retooling’ is a wild exaggeration …
Last year, Detroit was 50-53 at this point and 12 games back.

I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing to play out the season and try to win as many games as possible instead of trading for something like 2 WAR of expected value in prospects.
What about the guy that you have first for DRS by a catcher?

Seems like you are creating an award for biggest gap between a player and his replacement

Which might be a plus for the player or a minus for the GM
It changes the crisper so it can store bat heads
Not if the runner is staying within the base path and moving from one to another.

But if the runner ran to the middle of the infield to block the view of a relay or block the view of the catcher, that would be against the rules

Does the player have any business being there? Muncy didn’t
“Would Rubecoin be too obvious?”

Is a question he has asked his team.

‘72 hours of darkness is good’
IMO - I use a test.
If there was a draft of the players of 2024 and you already knew the health and quality of play for the entire season, who would go first?
I wouldn’t have picked Joe, but I get how someone would.
