"Pokémon is fun"

Said some random guy only to be tackled by a hundred random guys who dislike Pokémon but never actually play it
Hyrule Warriors next month, kinda forgot about that, BUT, I'm pretty darn hyped for it, ngl!
I had more fun with each individual Ace Attorney game than I have with every Open World game I've played combined.

A game doesn't need fancy graphics or a big world to explore, as long as the game itself is fun.

This is why Legends Z-A, might be my favorite Pokémon game.
I'm not saying we had the worst childhood ever--But, I'd long convinced myself it was a "Good" childhood.

And I'm just kinda coming to terms that it really wasn't, lol
If we made any odd movements, we'd be taken outside and spanked.

Accidentally made any noise--Spanked.

Fell asleep or nodded off, spanked.

I wonder WHY Church gave me so much anxiety in my early to late teens? Why I stopped going after moving out on my own.
We were all on the spectrum, a little ADHD, sitting still for long periods of time was VERY difficult--Especially when we were too short to even see over the pews--We were just told to sit still and listen to some Latin words we didn't know for two hours while looking at the back of a wooden chair.
If I saw someone whipping an adult, I wouldn't be able to sit back and do nothing.

So, it's pretty disgusting that anyone could do that to a child just for giving her mom a little attitude.

I remember in Church, if any of us got at all distracted or we fidgeted, we'd be taken outside and spanked.
I used to think that spanking a child was normal, it was all I knew.

But thinking back to when I'd hear my Dad lashing at my sister with his belt, ten to fifteen times in a row, while she was screaming, was pretty fucked up.

She was like 9.
Basically, we'd turn our punishments against our parents.

My Mom would get frustrated when we wouldn't leave the corner, so she didn't want to put us in time out anymore.

As a result, she started spanking us with metal hangers or belts.

I was five when I learned to avoid getting caught.
We grew up in a house where getting spanked was the immediate punishment for anything.

My Sister and I would always pretend it didn't hurt just to be annoying, we'd get hit again, and pretend to laugh.

If we got put in time out, we'd stay put far longer after we were told we could move.
The Xbox as we know it is as good as dead, but next year WOULD have been the perfect year to revive Banjo. BUT, I give up on that possibly at this point.

3D Sonic however--Something for next year?
Donkey Kong Bananza, Mario Galaxy 1+2, Yooka-Replaylee and Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac all got pretty good reception this year.

Astro Bot won GotY last year.

Games like Bubsy 4D are being hyped up for next year.

Can I say that 3D platformers are back AND relevant across the industry again?
Realistically, this show won't end until Dan Castellaneta either dies or retires, and it is not a show that has any real or meaningful continuity outside of references, so I don't expect them to do anything special with this movie.

But, if it were said to be the finale to the series, I'd watch it.
We all know The Simpsons has long outlived the best of its days--I'm not gonna be a bore and say they should just quit while they're ahead or anything.

BUT, this new movie has an opportunity to either lower the curtains on a high note, and finally put the show to rest--Or age up the characters.
Galaxy is my favorite Mario.

I still haven't played Galaxy 2 tho

(I'm playing them both, starting with Galaxy on Switch rn!)

I don't really understand the "Guys don't know anything about their friends", like do you just not talk to the people in your life?

In one conversation I can get a stranger to basically spill out their life story just by showing a LITTLE interest--It ain't that hard to be curious about people lol
So, with the Virtual Boy having like 14 games, yet Nintendo selling a dock for it--How long realistically can they drip feed that library?

What if, Nintendo had plenty more VB games to release, but when they killed the console, the games never saw the light of day?

New VB games possibly?
I agree, as much as I hate AI and the slop it spits out, that if it COULD be used to lighten the workload of say, an Annimator, by helping with in between frames, to make theur jobs easier.

But unless it's ethically done, I will NEVER so much as humor AI.
Three things that would be needed for me to accept Generative AI:

1 - All Data must only be obtained from a companies internal database, from works they own.

2 - All Energy must be sourced from renewable sources, that do not damage the local environment.

3 - No jobs can be lost because of AI.
There's some pretty credible rumors that Xbox is officially dead as the brand will move away from hardware and focuses entirely on software.

Not surprising, especially after the official Xbox handheld was canned--My guess is we'll see "Xbox PCs" from third parties though.
Not gonna lie, Mario Galaxy is one of the *few* games that just feels gross without the Wii controls.

SURE, the waggle is just a glorified X button, but it makes the whole game feel so much more responsive and interactive.

I'm glad the Joy-Con controls feel good in the new version!
Look, I don't exactly LOVE Nintendo's legal team, but if killing a few fan games, and shutting down a few emulators is what it takes to start getting some momentum behind an Anti-Generative AI, then I--

Still can't support the other stuff, but I'll gladly support this lawsuit!
