Ah! Just worked out why she was being dragged backwards in @thattallbloke.bsky.social 's earlier post :)

I only found out and managed to get the timings about 40 minutes after they had passed just by me this afternoon without so much as a whistle. Might have to come see at the weekend...
... and in turn now to be the site of an ambitious new marine-focussed Eden Project with mussel-shaped biodomes, gardens, performance spaces... and perhaps an outdoor pool #Morecambe 29/9
... all built on the site of the Morecambe Super Swimming Stadium, a vast art-deco lido said to be the largest open air pool in Europe when it opened in 1936
... remains of the Morecambe Leisure Park, Bubbles indoor and outdoor swimming pools and the Dome music and entertainment venue
Of course there was more to come...
The Midland Hotel #Morecambe, showpiece art deco built 1933 by the London Midland & Scottish Railway... just across the way from the former Morecambe Promenade station built in more traditional style 26 years earlier by the Midland Railway (29/9)

Not the village pump... Crossley O.120 heavy oil engine originally installed circa 1929 in #Gimingham corn mill replacing water power 5/10
