It does get tiresome
Evening light by the bike path.
Yellow skies with silhouetted palm trees over looking a marsh at high tide.
I’ll needs two axes.
It will be my first time hunting - do I get to choose which ex?
Absolutely not an apology. If Paul Dame accepts that I would not be surprised though.
Probably the same owners!
Yup. Winter getaways for the wealthiest Americans early 20th century.
Ok - I’ve worked with those folks and they are really good and empathetic people, you can write a follow up email and own it. It’s only going to highlight your passion and care. Errors happen, it’s what happens after that really matters.
Another cottage on Jekyll
A white “cottage”, really a summer estate as viewed from behind two large garden urns. A large vintage entryroom with herringbone floor, large smooth ceiling beams, tall side-by-side windows and scattered period furniture. A courtyard fountain viewed from behind an archway.
Well Wikipedia is on it. #vermont the NEK deserves better than this wayward human.
The beautiful “cottages” in the historic district are state owned and some have nice porch furniture for lounging about. This one has a lovely view of the water, and Zoey gets some much needed lawn time. We get to have a snack and enjoy pretending we have a big house for a bit.
Zoey, a small black dog, laying between two porch supports of a historic house. The lawn is green, there are evergreens, live oaks with Spanish moss, and palm trees. Same porch filled with fake wicker furniture with big comfy cushions. Looking west over the Jekyll River where the sun will be setting soon.
Thank you - my plates are pretty intentional, the cups and mugs were mostly chance 😂 making mud stand up is hard sometimes!
Surprise sunset. Whoa.
Flourescent orange sunset on a cloud filled grey sky over calm water.
His and hers cups and mugs still drying. Have never used this particular clay, glazing will be an adventure.
Two mugs and two cups made of clay, drying on a studio shelf prior to a bisque firing.
