There's lots I want to say about this, especially when Big Tech corporate executives and shareholders are blatantly taking the piss.

Instead, piss Big Tech shareholders off by switching to Linux.

$96.5 million for Nadella | Microsoft's CEO receives record pay in a year that saw 15,000+ layoffs
Business is booming at Microsoft, and its CEO isn't going to go hungry.

And another own goal. He's a liability now, to the point whereby I'm thinking he's been bribed to throw the match, metaphorically. Needs to be dropped if Labour FC stand any chance of avoiding relegation to the Backbench League 🤣
I've also been warning folk about the increasing stranglehold Big Tech are having on users' everyday life and why it's only a matter of time before you own nothing and rent everything — including your own data.

It's time to decentralise and diversify.

Oh, and #SaveYourself #InstallLinux 😉👍
Today’s AWS outage is a reminder of what happens when a handful of tech giants control the internet.

Last year, we warned this was coming: Microsoft pushed back on regulators who tried to rein in Big Tech’s monopoly over the cloud.

“Regulators should carefully avoid any intervention” the company said in response to a federal probe of security and interoperability risks.

My unexpected switch to @greenparty.org.uk reminds me of my switch from Microsoft Windows to a Linux desktop operating system. @zackpolanski.bsky.social and the Greens make me feel like I have control again by working for me and the community, not greedy shareholders and top-level executives 🐧💚😁👍
Labour are just Reform Lite, whilst Reform UK are the Tories 2.0 — both are just nasty parties now, driven by money and hate. At least Zack Polanski and the Green party have given me hope of some decency in politics, not just with their environmental policies/ideology 🙏
Because Labour are clueless. When they got into power, I was optimistic they would do the right thing for voters. Sadly, they took ‘right’ literally by following Reform UK's hurtful tactics and punishing the people who most likely voted for Labour. I've now ditched them and joined the Greens 💚
That would be a huge, huge achievement and one that I welcome 😁👍
That's interesting because I'm pretty sure the 16,500 millionaires who ‘supposedly’ left are neither patriotic nor a significant proportion of the 3 million millionaires still in the UK. I'd also question the reliability of your two sources based on a social media tweet and a pro-wealth infographic.
“Come and get your lollipops! All free today...” — Big Tech, 2025.
I'm the same. I really thought he'd bring positive, well-researched improvements, but most of the things he's doing now are just lame attempts to pander to Reform UK voters whilst abandoning and distancing himself from real Labour voters. I'm really disappointed with Starmer now.
Palantir: “All your data are belong to us.”
I'd probably hold back any celebrations until we see what potential concessions have been made, if any... I don't trust Disney to not renege their U-turn 🤔
I rewatched a few episodes of Babylon 5 recently. I'm hoping for some Captain John Sheridans (with help from some Minbari-like federations) to rise up in a world run by a growing number of President Clarks.
Yeah, I saw that too and his ‘Bold Politics’ 😁👍
I've found myself warming to the Greens for the first time in ages. I feel like they actually have some teeth now, especially with Zack Polanski challenging his opponents and critics with a degree of professionalism and humility. Whatever he's doing to entice voters, it's working for me so far! 😁👍
$42 billion in, but at least $84 billion out... 'cos nothing says ROI like Microsoft's shareholders and top-level executives 🤷🏻
The megalomaniacs in America, Israel and Russia are going to blow up the world, aren't they? 😬

Why can't people just be civilised? 🤷🏻‍♂️
I'm not gonna lie, I'm not enjoying my life right now. Some things are just getting me down more than I expected and it's a bit of a struggle trying to shake them off, but it will pass, hopefully. Just gotta ride it out, I think, but I could really do with an ego boost right now.
I'm going to assume the blame lies with some ‘big tech’ company such as Microsoft, or something that uses a Microsoft product or service, such as Azure or Windows Server 🤣

Also look at Nvidia's awful RTX 50-series graphics card launch.

’Big tech’ corps being sloppy 🤬

That's ‘big tech’ corps for you, mate. They only care about making huge amounts of money for shareholders and top execs. Absolute bastids!
Ah, cheers for this 👍

To be fair, I really need to do some more research on this as I'm way behind the curve, so I appreciate your advice on this as I'm no expert but I'm trying to continually improve myself, even though I make mistakes along the way.

Thanks again 👍
