It just occurred to me that the "students of Robert E. Webber to students of Robert F. Taft" pipeline could be a real thing.
That episode of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood where the tiger family goes grocery shopping and then stops at the restaurant right after? <nods-in-enthusiastic-approval/>.

Midnight Catechism β€”

Q.: Does God the Father have a body like us?

A.: No. To recall the words of the famous Origen, God the Father is bodiless.
For the first time in my life I successfully spelled 'oeuvre' without needing help.
Should I pursue a Master's of Library (and Information) Science degree, or should I pursue master's level work in late antiquity?
If I'm not working, praying, or thinking about and caring for my family and friends, I'm thinking about early monasticism, the church fathers, late antiquity, or the humanities more broadly.
Why must civilization decline at the same time as the study of the humanities? It's as if that human with all the the Executive Orders woke up some morning and was like, "Why not both?"

Def not jealous of that, whereas I cannot boast except in the cross of the Lord, I kinda feel these non-ordained folk feel the same way.
In case you forgot that the Origenian vision of the resurrected body is orbital and DBH called baseball A Perfect Game, . . .
Late-antique and Orthodox legends about lost relics and miraculous icons calling out to be found bear an odd resemblance to the Jumanji story, minus the ensuing chaos.
This oddly, for perhaps no reason, reminds me of a tweet-able thought I had last night, which I will share here:

I thought, and maybe there is not a good reason for this, that it reminded me of Knives Out for some reason. Idk
Yeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaah

It’s kind of like, linguistically I interpret this to mean, β€œWe’re saving the idea of Godβ€”God’s public reputation” or something like that. Except, bro, you clearly are not doing that either.
Heck I’d pay $45+ for a quality quarter-zip.
Like, clearly I don’t know which vibe usage you speak of. This is one I take issue with because it’s so common for me.
β€œ. . . I’m vaguely getting the vibe you are vibe-suspicious???”

It’s so easy to say β€œvibe” in place of β€œI projected my own perception onto the speaker and I am making assumptions about their original or emotional or hidden intention.”
