RIP Karin Glenmark 💔 Her and her brother took part in several Melfests back in the 70s and 80s, also with this banger which should have won in 1984. 73 is quite young, wonder what the cause of death is. RIP.

It's been almost 15 years and I'm still baffled that Lauris Reiniks lost to Musiqq in 🇱🇻 Eirodziesma in 2011. "Banjo Laura" slaps and would have done better in ESC than "Angel In Disguise"... #Eurovision

This song is like a time capsule of 2012. It can’t sound more 2012 than that. It’s David Guetta ft Usher, Martin Solveig and pre-True era Avicii put together. David Lindgren’s best Melfest entry, Skyline was mid and the other one was total crap.

In my case it would be a big pop song clearly with the 80s influences, inspired by Michael Jackson and Prince. Something that could work both on the radio and on stage and my staging would be intense street choreography, high energy and some cool effects to spice it up.

I had my rants on Dubai and UAE a while ago and now it’s gaining traction. Appalling human rights record, exploitation of migrant workers and supporting genocide. It’s essentially Vegas on steroids but with no soul. Nah I’m good.
