Sometimes I remember worrying that I was embarrassing when I started sharing my fanart. I fell so hard & so fast for our pirates. Then a pro comic artist I really look up to just out of the blue told me my OFMD stuff was "beautiful work". It was like he knew I needed to hear it right at that moment.

For those tempted to say Young Republicans have always been this way, they really have not. When I worked on campus and did bipartisan college events after, they were very much not like this.

That’s why groups like YCT and eventually TPUSA formed — because Young Republicans weren’t radical enough.

i knew a woman in college who said shit like “black people should just get over slavery” and i just KNOW she had worse beliefs, but everyone acted like i was insane for refusing to just “get along” with her or associate with her friends

she was perfectly nice to them, you see. and yes they were.
